Streamlabs Setup Guide

Professional Streaming

These steps cover direct camera video in Streamlabs. Camera sharing depends on your hardware and operating system; opening it here may interrupt RollSight. For replay overlays that avoid sharing the camera, see our OBS setup guide.

Prerequisites

  • Streamlabs installed (free streaming software)
  • RollSight software installed and running
  • Dice tray camera set up and working in RollSight
  • Camera visible in your system's device list

Step 1: Verify Camera

  1. Launch RollSight and ensure camera is working
  2. Verify camera feed appears in RollSight
  3. Check that opening the camera in Streamlabs does not interrupt RollSight; use a separate camera if it does

Step 2: Add Camera to Streamlabs

  1. Open Streamlabs
  2. In the Sources panel, click +
  3. Select Video Capture Device
  4. Name it (e.g., "Dice Camera")
  5. Click Add Source

Step 3: Configure Source

  1. Select your RollSight dice camera from device dropdown
  2. Camera feed should appear in preview
  3. Adjust resolution and FPS if needed
  4. Click Done
Success: Your dice tray should now be visible in Streamlabs!

Step 4: Position and Style

  1. Drag camera source to position in your scene
  2. Resize using corner handles
  3. Add filters if desired (right-click → Filters)
  4. Consider adding border or frame
  5. Position as overlay or side panel

Streamlabs alerts are configured separately. RollSight does not provide automatic critical-roll alerts here.

Troubleshooting

Camera not detected

  • Verify camera works in RollSight
  • Check camera not in use by another app
  • Restart Streamlabs
  • Check device manager for camera
