Download Rollsight

Get the desktop app for macOS. One installer, then double-click to run.

Install in 3 steps

    Download the app

    When downloads are available, you'll get the app from GitHub Releases (Source code zip), then unzip on your Mac.

    Run the installer (one time)

    In the unzipped folder, double-click Install Rollsight.command. Terminal will open and install dependencies (Python packages). When it finishes, you can close Terminal. You only need to do this once (or after upgrading to a new release).

    If macOS says the file is from an unidentified developer, right-click it → Open → Open.

    Open Rollsight

    Double-click Rollsight.app in the same folder to start the app. You can drag Rollsight.app to your Applications folder or Dock if you like.

Requirements

  • macOS 10.13 or later
  • Python 3.9+ (the installer will use it; install from python.org or brew install python@3.11 if needed)
  • A USB camera or compatible setup (see Guides)

Upgrading to a new version

When a new release is available, download the latest Source code (zip) from GitHub, unzip it (you can replace the old folder), then double-click Install Rollsight.command again to update dependencies. After that, open Rollsight.app as usual.
