RollSight for Fantasy Grounds

Use physical dice with supported Fantasy Grounds sheet rolls and native results.

  1. Install RollSight and enable the RollSight extension in your Fantasy Grounds campaign.

Place the downloaded .ext file in Fantasy Grounds’ extensions folder, enable RollSight, then load the campaign.

    Download Fantasy Grounds extension

  2. On the same computer, open /rollsight in Fantasy Grounds. Copy the short code into Connect dice → Fantasy Grounds in RollSight.

  3. Start a roll from a supported character sheet or the Fantasy Grounds dice tray.

  4. Roll, check the faces in RollSight and send. Complete larger requests over several fresh throws; the pending values and progress card show what is still needed.

The verified native path covers CoreRPG and 5E, with ordinary d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 rolls. Other rulesets and custom dice are not yet verified. Fantasy Grounds keeps the original modifiers and applies its game rules.

Correcting an accepted die while a request is pending updates its waiting value. After resolution, corrections add a report without undoing or repeating game effects. Reports with private or unverified visibility remain local to that Fantasy Grounds instance.

After an uncertain send, check chat and pending values before reconnecting. A live pending request can survive reconnecting; reloading or ending the campaign does not preserve it. Cancel an unfinished request before starting another, and use fresh dice for the next roll.

Replay uploads require an accepted source with verified public visibility, an eligible plan, session opt-in and available storage. Private or unverified visibility blocks upload.

Sharing a session link requires an eligible hosted RollStats plan and successful sync. Foundry, Discord, Owlbear and Fantasy Grounds have built-in sharing.
